We were contracted to apply a microcement finish that would look as close to a powerfloated concrete finish as possible, there had been a problem with the original floor so we were consulted regarding the finishes available. The desired finish was achieved with minimal fuss.

At the outset, the floor was proposed for power floated concrete, unfortunately this was not achieved. We were contracted to produce a similar industrial look and feel. This was achieved using a standard grey microcement. As you can see there was a lot of preparation to carry out! However the finish was achieved with great success.

The remit for this project was: the wall to have the appearance of precast concrete. The floor to have a contrasting finish explained as ‘a flowing river’ of seamless microcement. A truly beautiful finish to this contemporary conversion

The finished surface of this concrete staircase was not to the standard required by the client, I was asked to Microcement the staircase in a mid grey with a satin seal. client was over the moon with the outcome, a steel banister is to be installed which will really put the finishing touches to the project.
